In the blink of an eye, here we are welcoming Fall. I woke up several weeks ago and realized that in a few short months my year as the President of CREW Greater Philadelphia will be over.
However, before that happens, we have a few more things to accomplish and a number of things to celebrate! On September 8, 2022, we launched our official CREW Greater Philadelphia Mentorship Program. This was one of my goals for the year – providing as many tools as possible to our members, helping them grow both personally and professionally. With seven pairs of mentors and mentees, we had a strong participation right out of the gate.
We also hosted a fantastic panel of executive women last week, who spoke to us about how to ‘Negotiate Our Worth’. It was uplifting, empowering and engaging, giving us all a few more tools to work our way through challenges and discover our own resilience.
As of this week, we have hit our 180th CREW Greater Philadelphia member! This is where we ended the year in 2021, so it is very exciting that we still have a couple of months to continue to grow this fantastic group of professionals.
Lastly, I want to end this message with a note about our next big event. If you have been in Philadelphia for any period of time and in the CRE industry, you will undoubtedly have heard about the CREW Greater Philadelphia Annual Charitable Luncheon. Sidelined by covid for the past two years, we are excited to be back at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on November 18, 2022. Please join us and 500+ of your real estate colleagues as we kick off the holiday networking season in Philadelphia. The net proceeds directly support our Chapters’ philanthropic efforts with scholarships and programming for area high schools and colleges.
