Thank You Bidders & Donors! Silent Auction Raises More Than $13,000 For Chapter's Philanthropic Endeavors

October 13, 2021

Bidding was at a rapid pace for experiences, goods, and services during CREW Greater Philadelphia's recent Online Silent Auction.  A signature event for the year, the Silent Auction is dedicated to raising funds supporting the Chapter's philanthropic activities.  More than $13,000 was achieved during the week-long event in September.

The philanthropic arm of CREW Greater Philadelphia is focused on several areas. First is providing college scholarships for women pursuing degrees in fields related to commercial real estate. Another is through support of our annual philanthropic partner - The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia this year, specifically supporting West Philadelphia High School's Architecture and Design CTE program. The Chapter's grant to The Fund will finance up to two scholarships for graduating female WPH seniors, update class computer hardware and software, and fund an industry-related field trip to be organized by CREW Greater Philadelphia.

Items up for bid included experiences such as a stay at Ritz-Carlton, merchandise from top brands including Kate Spade, Ugg, and Amazon Fire, and Philadelphia Flyers tickets.  There was also a raffle for a MIRROR (from lululemon) complete with a 12-month membership.

The Chapter's final charitable event for the year will be October 25, a Clay Shoot in the Lehigh Valley.

Thank you to everyone who supports our fundraising events and philanthropic efforts.
